Fun little game.
I really liked the characters, and the different worlds. I think the colors were a bit too bright, although I dig the idea of the pastel. The actionscript is really nice work. All in all a top notch game.

Not too shabby
I played this game on ArmorGames.com and was surprised to finally see it here on Newgrounds. The game had some interesting character designs, although I think you slacked off a bit on the humans. Also the treasure chests inside of the cave you can just keep getting over and over again which makes it pretty easy to buy the expensive stuff real quick. Lots of good ideas, but I think you could have raised the bar with the storyline, the moves, and the interaction. The art was pretty solid though.
I think I did raise the bar quite a bit from the first one (The Rise of a Knight), but I know what you mean.
This game has good ideas but...
The controls and movements are just too sticky, there needs to be some serious compression. The moves are for the most part unoriginal, the attacks, and the characters are pretty boring too. The storyline needs work, and the sound is just very bland. You've clearly got scripting talent, but it's really not doing much for this game.
I always thought munglai should wear a fez.
A fez would match the brown fur so well. I dig the style. Need more clock day games anyhow, and this is the 2nd one I've seen.
Compression
Think about compressing your sound, putting on a preloader, and compressing the moves to FLA's. I don't see why this should be over 9MB in size.
Still a lot of glitches.
At the end I've beaten the guy twice, and still the game gave me a losing result. The game is visually stimulating, and the moves are reasonably simple. I would have also kept the buttons further apart.
Boring
The amount of "training" required towards the end does not justify the means of the ending itself. The difficulty through the game is minimal at best, then towards the end it's impossible to do without hours of training. This game has a lot of potential but it's executed poorly. On another note some of the special moves carry on for so long that when you defeat the enemy the sound effects lapse over past the battle itself.
Too many bugs.
First bug fighting the fish seems to constantly freeze up after the power move. I don't know why. Also after using first aid it freezes up as well. You may want to fix up more of these bugs and make a log of it.
Little error.
I've noticed after you get the 10000 pointer(won't spoil it) that if you use it immediately as opposed to torturing the guy and then using it you are more apt to get higher points. I don't know if this is some kind of coding glitch but you might want to fix that up. Fun game though.
This is a good concept that needs a lot of work
First of all your parameters seem a little off, the glitches are everywhere, it's pretty easy to cheat, and the graphics aren't really all that balanced out. The concept is very strong, and I get what you're going for. My advice is to tweak the scripts you have, fix the mistakes, and really just make it work. It might extend a longer release time, but it'll be more presentable. While the script work is good, it is still flawed in terms of how it goes to the viewer. Keep practicing and you'll get there.
